My client a global market leader in the beverage production sector is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for their state of the art facility in Kildare that provides the manufacturing and distribution of my client’s products throughout EMEA.Reporting to the Ops Manager and managing a team of nine this Maintenance Manager job is commutable from Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny and Laois.In the Maintenance Manager job some of the key elements of your new job will include:

Ultimately responsible for the reliable operation of all company equipment.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and disruptions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance procedures.
Responsible for managing all needed resources to allow effective maintenance of all production equipment and support equipment as needed.
Responsible for departmental spending.
Responsible for strategic spare part management alongside with purchasing and contract management to meet the company standards and support all the operations in the company within the agreed budget. Overall responsibility for outage planning and delivery of same in a safe and timely manner;
Administers company Preventive Maintenance program using CMMS maintenance software.
Responsible for reviewing the work order program to ensure that work orders are properly evaluated for prioritization, work order content is accurate, and that issuing work orders for necessary repairs are assigned to the proper personnel.
Lead and Performance Manage your direct report(s). Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.
Assists Project Management staff in the coordination and execution of company projects.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:You will hold a relevant qualification with at least 3 years + relevant maintenance mgt experience in a manufacturing/production environment. You will have a strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical process plant and associated maintenance activities and also be pretty computer literate.From a technical perspective you will have a strong knowledge of Alan Bradley PLC’s, Ethernet, ControlNet, Device Net & Profibus communications protocols as well a being familiar with BMS,SCADA process control systems for process and fault diagnosisWHAT IN IT FOR YOU:The Maintenance Manager job pays a salary of 70k + doe plus full health insurance for you and your family, pension and discretionary bonus of up to 10% (depending on company performance) along with 23 days annual leave.You would be joining at a great time with the Kildare site having completed a huge upgrade with lots of capital investment going on along with a huge plant extension With the Kildare plant having been acquired by a large US multinational a few years ago you get the best of both worlds with the advantages of working in a medium sized plant which you’ll be more than just a number but with the significant backing of a large parent company behind you.
