This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable on the floor during busy service and confident handling the admin side of the business.Duties:
Daily OperationsOpen and close the barRun the floor during busy periodHire, train, and support bar staffCreate weekly rotasManage performance issues and lead team meetingsOrder all stock and suppliesCarry out regular stock takesWork with suppliersMonitor pour costs and reduce wasteHandle daily cash upsTrack sales and targetsPrepare basic financial reportsMake sure GP targets are metFollow licensing laws and health & safety rulesEnsure responsible service of alcohol at all timesDeal with customer feedback and complaints quickly and professionallyKeep service standards highSkills:2-5 years' experience as a Bar Manager or senior supervisorExperience in a busy, high-volume barConfident using POS systems (Toast, NCR, or similar)Strong leadership and communication skillsAble to stay calm and focused under pressureIf you would like to hear more regarding this position, please apply through the link provided for the attention of Leanne Thornton or call Leanne on 041 9865058.
