You will oversee all elements of day-to-day operations, team leadership, compliance, and long-term planning.You will report to the Regional Manager and play a key part in shaping care culture, team performance, and the personal development of each young person in your care.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all care is delivered to the highest standards and in line with national regulationsLead, manage, and support a team of Social Care Leaders, Workers, and relief staffFoster a safe, nurturing, and child-centred home environmentOversee house budgets, compliance, and internal systemsSupport referrals, admissions, and assessmentsActively contribute to inspections and ensure full compliance with TUSLA and regulatory bodiesBuild and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., TUSLA, CAMHS, Gardaí)Promote safeguarding, whistleblowing, and a culture of transparencyParticipate in the on-call rota and handle crisis situations effectivelySupport the development and expansion of servicesQualifications & Experience RequiredYou must meet at least one of the following qualification pathways:Option 1QQI Level 7 in Social CareEnrolled in or completed a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting4 years' full-time experience in children's residential care post-qualificationOption 2QQI Level 8 in Social Care3 years' full-time experience in children's residential care post-qualificationOption 3Relevant QQI Level 7/8 qualification (see list below)4 years' post-qualification experience in children's residential careMust be enrolled in or hold a suitable management qualificationOption 4CORU-registered Social Care Worker4 years' full-time experience, even without a formally recognised qualificationAccepted Relevant QualificationsQQI Level 8 in PsychologyQQI Level 7 or above in:Social Science / Social StudiesYouth & Community WorkCounselling / PsychotherapyAddiction CounsellingChild & Adolescent PsychotherapyFamily SupportDisability StudiesApplied Behavioural AnalysisEarly Years Care (for U12 services)Professional Qualification in Teaching or NursingBA in Applied Policing or equivalentHigher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalentOther Essential RequirementsFull manual driving licence (valid in Ireland)Right to work and live in IrelandFull Garda Vetting and police clearance for any international residencySolid understanding of Irish National Standards for Children's Residential CentresStrong leadership, crisis management, and conflict resolution skillsClear communication and team motivation abilitiesReady to Lead With Purpose?If you're a qualified social care professional with the experience and leadership skills to make a real impact, we want to hear from youNuvo Healthcare - Ethically Connecting People, Transforming Lives
