Reliability Specialist

• Improve asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimisation of the site maintenance process.

• Provide expert advice on improving Equipment Reliability, Risk Based Asset Management, and Cost Management, and act in a consultative fashion to assist with equipment issues.

• Develop engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.

• Maintain the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program such as vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses, supporting the interpretation of the results.

• Analyses equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts, reducing regulatory concerns, both cGxP and EHS.

• Reduces and improves maintenance work, assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost.

• Benchmarks other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques. Implements digital solutions and SMART maintenance.

• Complies with the current Quality and EHS Management System requirements of our Manufacturing Division, as relevant to the supporting operations.

• Engineering degree qualification, preferably mechanical or electrical.

• +5 years of professional experience.

• Desirable +3 years of experience working in a similar role in industrial environment or within a specialized consultancy.

• Ability to analyse and identify trends and patterns.

• CMMS knowledge highly desirable.
