- Organise and monitor the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management, including regular cycle counts.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks) safely and ensure compliance with safe operating procedures.
- Liaise with transport providers, suppliers, and other internal departments to coordinate logistics.
- Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies relating to deliveries, stock, or orders.
- Complete required documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety requirements.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- IT skills (e.g. stock management systems, MS Office, Word, Excel).
- The flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Forklift license (counterbalance/reach truck).
- Full, clean B car license
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Knowledge of lean processes or continuous improvement methods.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). – Sage 50/CRM
