Senior Specialist, Design Technologist, Developer Experience

- Own and maintain design system documentation, component specs, and interaction patterns for the developer portal
- Collaborate with designers and front-end engineers to reduce ambiguity in the design-to-development handoff
- Conduct rapid user testing and iteration cycles to gather signal on proposed features and flows
- Partner with product managers to translate roadmap priorities into prototype-ready concepts
- Contribute front-end code to production when prototypes are approved for implementation
- Stay current on emerging interaction patterns, developer tooling trends, and design technology, including AI-powered interfacesQualifications- 2+ years of experience in design technology, front-end engineering, or a hybrid design-engineering role
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar) and prototyping tools (Figma, Framer, or equivalent)
- Experience building interactive prototypes that go beyond static mockups to simulate real product behavior
- Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards
- Ability to work fluidly across design and engineering teams with minimal handholding
- Familiarity with AI-powered interfaces, conversational UX, or agentic interaction patterns is a plus
