The successful candidate will be working with the Credit & Collections (Invoicing / Billing ) engineering team, on products and systems that handle their yearly revenue, spend Collections and enterprise communication workflows.Your Responsibilities:
- Implement new products and features within their Credit and Collections Portal, writing scalable and high-quality code that is on par with their software quality standards.
- Contribute running existing products and platforms by fixing recurring issues, improving reliability and quality of our engineering systems, products.
- Engaging in code and design reviews
- Working with business and other engineering partners (Product Manager, Product designers, Data Science, Data Engineering, Applied Research, etc.), clarifying requirements and defining scope of features, projects, tasks assigned.
- Communicating status with all partners and stakeholders in a crisp and concise manner
- Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, PHP.
- Desired: Laravel, Javascript, JQuery, MySql, Zend Framework, JSon, CodeIgnitor
- Any experience with Financial Credit & Collections a plus e.g. Invoicing / Billing / Payments / Revenue Collections etc
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
