- Management and maintenance of all facilities and utilities on site.
- This person will manage the co-ordination and implementation of a wide variety of maintenance and facility project activities on site.
- Procurement of subcontractors' services as required to fulfill requirements.
- Supervision & Training of direct reports and co-ordination of resources to ensure that site objectives are achieved.
- Effective maintenance of plant utilities and systems to ensure compliance and continuity of services.
- Supervise and co-ordinate utility upgrades.
- Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance procedures for critical utilities and the Facility.
- Manage contractor activity, capital projects and budgets related to Facilities activities
- Identify improvement projects (Cost, Processes, Systems) to improve the Facilities functions and reduce the total cost of the Facilities function.
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations
- Measurements will be tracked against plant metrics and MBOs tracked as per the annual appraisal process.
- Improvement projects will be tracked against Project Plan & Cost reduction targets.
- NFQ Level 8 with 5 - 7 years experience in a similar role with supervisory management experience.
- Supervisory management experience.
- Proven track record in facilities management in high volume manufacturing facility.
- Experience of facility management in the Medical device industry would be an advantage.
