As part of our Software Center for Advanced AI Architecture, you'll work independently on complex analytical challenges using cutting-edge machine learning, generative AI, and statistical modeling. If you're looking to transition from executing others' ideas to owning the full data science lifecycle, this is where you make that leap.As a Mid-Level Data Engineer, you will independently develop and validate machine learning models using Microsoft Azure. You'll take ownership of specific data science projects, design experiments, and work closely with AI engineers to transition research models into production systems. Responsibilities:

Design and conduct statistical analyses and machine learning experiments using Azure ML
Develop, validate, and optimize predictive models for business applications
Perform advanced feature engineering and data preprocessing on large datasets
Design and execute A/B tests and controlled experiments to measure model impact
Build data pipelines and collaborate with AI engineers on model productionization
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations

Qualifications:Required:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
5+ years of data science experience with proven track record of model development
Strong expertise in Python, machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and statistical analysis
Experience with Azure ML, data processing tools (Spark, Databricks), and experiment design
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to Have:

Experience with deep learning and advanced ML techniques (NLP, computer vision)
Knowledge of Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services
Familiarity with MLOps practices and model deployment
