We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a well-established engineering services team, based in West Dublin.This role sits within the fire protection division, while prior fire protection experience is not required, a strong understanding of mechanical equipment, materials, and processes is essential.This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, with clear career progression and exposure to complex, high-value tenders.🔹 Key Responsibilities
Tendering for a variety of large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe
Managing the full tender process from initial review through to submission
Reviewing tender documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules in detail
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Evaluating, analysing, and validating supplier and subcontractor quotations
Issuing RFIs and reviewing client responses with the estimating team
Preparing tender review and progress reports for senior management
Handover of final estimates to senior stakeholders
Attending meetings and site visits as required🔹 Skills & Requirements
3–5 years’ experience in a similar estimating role
Relevant degree qualification
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Excellent communication and time management skills
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
High level of computer literacy, particularly Excel / Google Sheets
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask🔹 What’s on Offer
