- Manage customer accounts and act as the primary R&D contact across multiple sites and formats.
- Develop and align product portfolios with brand requirements.
- Design recipes and diets using a risk-based approach.
- Collaborate with site teams to consider sourcing, efficiency, and capabilities during development.
- Build strong relationships with customers and commercial teams.
- Support innovation plans to meet customer and market demands.
- Ensure products meet nutritional compliance, legal standards, and customer specifications.
- Conduct palatability trials to monitor product performance.
- Substantiate packaging claims with relevant research and literature.
- Manage external chemical analysis for product formats and site testing.
- Identify opportunities for Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) and Blue Sky projects.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer dynamics.
- Organize customer visits and deliver product presentations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years proven background in development and innovation, ideally in a manufacturing or technology environment.
