
Senior Consultant – Asset Management - Consulting Advisory

- Support the delivery of consulting projects within asset management, including process improvement, regulatory compliance ensuring high-quality outputs and successfully meeting tight deadlines.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with key asset management regulations such as SEC rules, MiFID II, or equivalent regional compliance standards.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and regulatory changes in asset management and financial services.
- Understand of asset management, banking and financial needs and recommend suitable solutions to meet these needs, providing an exceptional client experience in line with their requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Preparing comprehensive project documentation including, but not limited to, Project Plans, Reports, RAID Logs, Status Updates etc.
- Participate in workshops, interviews, and data collection exercises with clients.
- Supporting Senior Management in overseeing and executing project delivery.
- Identify growth opportunities and support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Facilitating workshops to define project scopes and business requirements, ensuring outcomes are documented and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Helping project manager by supporting and driving Business Development initiatives including the preparation of proposals and tenders for new client opportunities.
- Work with colleagues to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment in business development efforts.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in asset management, financial services, or related consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of asset management operations, products, and regulatory environment.
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with project management tools or methodologies is a plus.
- Project / Programme Management experience delivering high-quality projects with prior experience in a Consulting firm or a professional services environment highly desirable.
- Broad industry experiences spanning sectors including Financial Services and particularly the Asset Management Industry (asset / investment managers, securities services etc.).
- Proven track record of successfully supporting end-to-end projects across all stages of the project life cycle.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to professional and client service excellence and developing effective working relationships.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in supporting Business Development initiatives including crafting and responding to client proposals would be favourable.
- Exception written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A natural curiosity to explore new opportunities and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with acute attention to detail
