Maintain and enhance the store`s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programmes and practices.The ideal candidate will have/be:
- 2 years` experience in a relevant position
- CIPD qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Good delegation skills

- Ensure optimum employment levels through appropriate recruitment and selection procedures
- Develop appropriate personal training and development plans are in place for each employee
- Promote a harmonious working atmosphere in store through proactive employee communication and problem resolution
- Ensure the store is compliant with relevant legislation and implement procedures as required
- Ensure that all employees receive an induction and initial and on-going training
- Document and record all internal and external training
- Manage probation periods accordingly
- Maintain employee attendance, holiday and leave records
- When necessary, implement the Grievance and Disciplinary polices correctly
- Ensure that all customer service programmes and procedures are in place and provide appropriate training as required
- Liaise with shop and union officials in accordance with company policies (if applicable).
- Develop and deliver the HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape organisational design, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Provide expert advice on people strategy, culture, and organisational change.
- Talent & Performance
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and develop top talent.
- Drive performance management processes, ensuring a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and oversee leadership and management training programmes.
- Culture & Engagement
- Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion across all sites.
- Build a values-driven culture that supports innovation and high performance.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for staff and management on HR matters.
- HR Operations, Payroll & Compliance
- Oversee HR policies, ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation and GDPR.
- Manage time clocking system and act as the key liaison between HR, Finance, and external payroll providers
- Lead employee relations processes in a fair, consistent, and progressive manner.
- Use HR data and systems to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Minimum Level 8 qualification in HRM, Business, or related field (CIPD membership desirable).
- At least 5 years` HR experience, including at senior advisor or business partner level.
- Demonstrated experience in HR systems required and payroll management an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Full clean driver`s licence, with flexibility to work across our three stores.
