Location: Cashel, Co. TipperaryJob type: Full-time, permanent on-siteOur global client is looking to welcome a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. The successful candidate will report to the divisional Financial Controller and manage day to day accounting operations.Responsibilities
  • End to end financial reporting; period-end close, prepare packs on P&L, balance sheet and cashflow analysis
  • Review journals, accruals and pre payments
  • Budget preparation, variance analysis
  • Overview of AP/AR function
  • Liaise with external stakeholders on statutory obligations (audit, tax)
  • Continuous process and internal control improvements
Requirements
  • Technically strong Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years’ PQE in financial preparation/reporting
  • Strong Excel and ERP systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self motivated, ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
