We are recruiting a Drug Rehabilitation CE Supervisor based in Cork City. Come join us and help set up and operate the new scheme, focused on supporting individuals experiencing marginalisation, addiction and social exclusion. The role of the CE Supervisor, under the direction of the Bridge Recovery Group, as the CE Sponsoring Organisation, is to support recovering drug rehabilitation participants to develop their personal, social and work-related skills to enable them to participate fully in community and working life. The position is a one-year rolling contract subject to funding being renewed. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience and relevant previous experience of addiction issues and working with service users towards rehabilitation. ABOUT; The Bridge Recovery group CLG is a Cork-based charity providing support services for people recovering from alcohol and drug abuse since 2000. In addition, we operate a mainstream DSP CE Scheme with more than 25 participants working in four sponsor projects across the city. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR (VACANCY): We are in the process of expanding our services through the set-up of a new Drug Rehabilitation Community Employment Scheme based in Cork City. As a result, we are now recruiting for a CE Supervisor to support the set-up and day-to-day operation of the scheme. The Scheme will have a maximum of 13 participants. Reporting to the Bridge Recovery Group CE Sponsoring Committee, the main objectives of the role will be to; - Support the set-up, development and operation of a person-centred programme so as to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services and the achievement of the scheme objectives; - Support participants to develop their personal, social and work-related skills and - Create a cohesive social group and restorative programme focused on supporting individuals experiencing marginalisation, addiction and social exclusion. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, previous experience in administration and relevant experience of addiction issues and working with service users towards rehabilitation. They should have knowledge, skills and experience of working in a non-profit team environment, and demonstrate skills of empathy, active listening, communication and patience.
