Research, investigate and produce high-quality news stories
Conduct interviews, attend events, and cover breaking news across Ireland
Verify information, fact-check thoroughly, and meet tight deadlines
Collaborate with editorial and production teams on content planning and strategy
Create engaging multimedia content, articles, photos, and video reports
Build and maintain a network of sources within Irish media and public life

Ideal Candidate Profile

Degree in Journalism, Theology, Philosophy or equivalent experience
Proven work or internship experience in journalism, reporting or editorial
Fluency in English with exceptional writing and editing skills
️ Able to work independently under time pressure with attention to detail
Tech savvy: Familiar with MS Office, digital editing tools, search platforms & databases
Photography and/or video journalism skills are a strong plus
Keen interest in Irish news, politics, and cultural issues
Excellent communication, networking and investigative instincts
️ Native English speaker preferred
