As an Account Manager in the planning team, you will play a critical role within the client account team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of client business, driving the creation of brilliant work, and delivering exceptional client service. Working under the guidance of the Account Director and Business Director, you will have ownership of campaign development and implementation, working closely with other departments at OMD and specialist functions to manage consistent execution of client strategies across all plans. You will be expected to drive both commercial opportunities for the agency and the delivery of best-in-class work for our clients. Through your role as manager, you will be key in developing our future talent. These are the skills and attitudes that you will need to exhibit in order to fulfil your role. These include but not limited to: +1 year industry experience - preferably in a media agency Excellent written & oral communication skills. The ability to think on your feet and respond directly to challenging questions. Independently take a client brief and develop a response from start to finish, calmly dealing with urgent requests, and asking for help when appropriate Ability to collate and curate detailed insights from multiple sources to fuel planning and strategy Can build strong and mutually beneficial working relationships across your team, peers, media owners and clients
