As they expand their operations into Galway, I seek a skilled Construction Site Foreman to join their team in Galway, with the potential to join other projects across the country.Job Description: I am seeking an experienced Construction Site Foreman to oversee a construction project in Galway. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a temporary contract position with the opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate open to working across various locations in Ireland.Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate construction activities according to project plans and specifications.

Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Manage and motivate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and labourers.
Monitor progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site as needed.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports and progress photos.
Regular inspections should be conducted to identify potential safety hazards or construction defects.
Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement efficient construction schedules.

Requirements: * 3 to 5 years of experience working as a construction site foreman or in a similar role.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues on-site.
Sound knowledge of the construction industry's health and safety regulations and best practices.
Willingness to travel and work across various locations in Ireland as required.
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
