- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Manage and motivate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and labourers.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site as needed.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports and progress photos.
- Regular inspections should be conducted to identify potential safety hazards or construction defects.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement efficient construction schedules.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues on-site.
- Sound knowledge of the construction industry's health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Willingness to travel and work across various locations in Ireland as required.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
