- Offer technical guidance to manufacturing sectors concerning processes and equipment to address issues, exceptions, or facilitate enhancements.
- Develop and execute changes aimed at boosting equipment performance, elevating product quality, reducing manufacturing expenses, and optimizing efficiencies.
- Create and adapt procedures as necessary to bolster support for manufacturing sectors. Propose Change plans and generate investigation reports.
- Aid in the transition of new products to the manufacturing domain.
- Engage in validation endeavors for processes, equipment, and facilities, alongside project execution.
- Ensure compliance of manufacturing area equipment with the site's calibration and maintenance regimen.
- Assist Technical Shift Leads with batch records as needed.
- Provide assistance and representation during Regulatory Inspections as requested.
- Adhere to Abbvie's policies, procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Evaluate and incorporate new equipment and process technologies.
- Spearhead capital projects addressing safety enhancements, quality improvements, capacity expansions, and/or cost reductions.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field is mandatory.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years’ experience in process/equipment engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in biotechnology or pharmaceutical plants.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of CGMP and regulatory standards pertaining to the pharmaceutical sector is essential for this position.
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical knowledge and practical application of principles, methods, and protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills essential for fostering effective relationships across all organizational levels.
- Proven capability to lead projects.
