- Support the delivery of attentive, personalised service in accordance with brand standards.
- Address guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management where appropriate.
- Monitor the operations to ensure guest satisfaction and service consistency throughout operations.
- Oversee dail set-up, allocations, and service readiness.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service flow and communication.
- Ensure dining and service areas uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, ambience, and presentation.
- Support adherence to daily checklists, SOPs, and closing procedures.
- Supervise and motivate staff.
- Assist with pre-service briefings, communicating daily specials, menu changes, and key service priorities.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels of service items, linens, and consumables.
- Report shortages or wastage to management to support cost-control measures.
- Support cash handling, billing, and POS accuracy throughout service periods.
- Maintain thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and beverage pairings.
- Promote menu specials and recommend pairings to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Support training initiatives to keep the team informed and confident in menu delivery.
- Ensure adherence to food hygiene, allergen awareness, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation for daily operational and health & safety requirements.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior service role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people-first mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems, reservations management, and basic reporting.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations; wine knowledge an advantage.
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
