This placement is primarily in our warehouse and will include all aspects of warehouse procedures from assisting with goods in and storage to goods dispatch. You will be trained to assist and be part of our logistics team and will learn about, but not limited to, Good Distribution Practice; Stock rotation; Record Keeping; Warehouse Cleaning; Courier bookings on computer; Health & Safety; Liaising with colleagues;Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: - All aspects of procedures for warehousing both physical and IT. - Goods-inwards/outwards - Complaints - Stock Rotation - Warehouse Cleaning; - Stock-taking Informal Training: - Liaising with Colleagues - Courier bookings/maintenance
