Job DescriptionThe Site Technician will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality residential construction project by assisting with on-site technical coordination, quality control, setting out, and day-to-day site operations. You will work closely with the site team to ensure that work is completed in accordance with specifications, drawings, and health & safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with setting out and surveying for groundworks, foundations, drainage, and superstructure.Interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications on site.Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with building regulations, client specifications, and company standards.Maintain accurate site records, logs, and reports, including daily progress reports and photographic records.Support the Site Manager with coordination of subcontractors, deliveries, and sequencing of work.Monitor and report on materials usage and site stock levels.Ensure all works comply with current Health & Safety regulations and assist in enforcing site rules and method statements.Assist in preparing as-built drawings, snag lists, and other handover documentation.Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders as required.Qualifications & ExperienceQualification in Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, or similar (Level 6/7/8).1-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally on residential projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Total Station, and GPS surveying equipment.Good understanding of building regulations, drawings, and technical standards.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Effective communicator, capable of working within a fast-paced construction environment.Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant site certificationsINDTW
