This Assistant Accountant role is initially being offered on a fixed term contract basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play an important role in the business, taking responsibility for accounts administration, and supporting the overall finance function.Key Responsibilities
- Accounts preparation
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable support
- Assist with tax and statutory returns
- Manage multiple bank accounts & credit cards
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end duties
- Complete other tasks and administrative duties, as requested
- Reviewing financial information and documents on a regular basis.
- Analysis of monthly costs and ad-hoc reporting.
- Ideally a part-qualified accountant with experience in a similar role
- Self-starter with an ambitious attitude, flexible and willing to adapt to fast growth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Office
- Available to start at short notice
