This position involves preparing, packaging, and serving deli items while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve deli products such as meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches
Slice, weigh, and package items according to customer requests
Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and display cases
Restock supplies and ensure displays are attractive and well-stocked
Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently
Label products accurately with prices and descriptions
Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene protocols
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Basic math skills for weighing and pricing products
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus (but not always required)
