Duties: Assist our full-time Youth & Community Workers in delivering various activities such as rock-climbing, high ropes, archery, kayaking, and arts & crafts to groups visiting the Centre. Assist with the setting-up, maintenance and cleaning of work areas. Flexibility is required in relation to days and hours of work - some work will be at weekends at certain times of the year. Position could be a stepping stone for someone who would like to pursue a career as an Outdoor Activities Instructor or Youth Worker. Opportunity to gain qualifications in Outdoor Activities or to pursue part-time study to gain a QQI qualification in Youth Work, if desired. Position would suit someone who enjoys working with people and providing support. Applicants must provide suitable character references and be prepared to undergo Garda vetting.
