We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our clients team for a 2-3 week period to cover annual leave. This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of the weekly payroll for a large workforce, as well as preparing and sending client invoices in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities:Run and process the weekly payroll for a high-volume workforceEnsure accuracy of timesheets, rates, hours worked, and deductionsLiaise with consultants and clients to resolve any payroll discrepanciesGenerate and send invoices to clients based on weekly timesheetsEnsure all statutory deductions (PAYE, etc.) are correctly appliedMaintain payroll records in line with company procedures and compliance standardsProvide general payroll support and respond to queries from staff and clientsRequirements:Experience in payroll processing ideally dealing with large payrolls.Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirementsProficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, Big Red Book or similar)High level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage time effectively under tight deadlinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsThis is a short term role providing temporary cover with a busy organisationSalary is negotiable depending on experience
