Airport Network Implementation Engineer

- Manage the Vendor for MPLS services in airports and bases
- Monitor of network performance and bandwidth in airports and bases
- Provide day-to-day support for the network infrastructure in airports and bases
- Assist other teams in the rollout of any new technologies and projects that connect to the network in airports and bases
- Assist the helpdesk with any network issues that may arise in airports and bases
- Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure timely and seamless network delivery to new airports and bases
- Visit and document all network equipment in airports and bases
- Travel as necessary to resolve issues that cannot be resolved remotely
- Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in multiple languages is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science based qualification.
- 2-3 years’ experience in networks, LAN, WAN, Voice, Data and wireless technology
- Network Monitoring tools such as PRTG and Wireshark
- Proficient with network design, IP Addressing/sub-netting, Cisco routers and switches, and Fibre-Channel technology
- Familiarity with mobile and fixed voice services
- Keen interest in interconnecting technologies
- Must be seen as a team player
- Detail oriented, with a focus on documentation and change control
- Ability to discuss, design, implement and support global technical solutions
