Civil TechnicianThe Osborne Tech and Eng team are currently recruiting for the role of Civil Technician, to join our family run client operating in the residential and commercial engineering sector. The successful incumbent will want to hit the ground running in this thriving company involved in numerous new projects across Cork and KerryRequirements:

Relevant degree in Engineering
Experience in civil engineering site development design
Knowledge of the requirements of the Irish planning system
Must have a high level of computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills
Excellent IT skills
Excellent organisational skills
Strong team player
Current Irish drivers licence

Competencies required:

Proactive with an ability to work on own initiative and to take the lead where appropriate
Knowledge of both REVIT and AUTOCAD
Stormwater and drainage design hands on experience
Take ownership of work and work with project engineers to help timely delivery
Experience in design of sustainable urban drain design systems
Planning and controlling of technical resources to deliver projects on time
Hands on experience of residential projecting ranging from 50-500 units
Identifier of change programmes that increase productivity and profitability
Highly motivated and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges
Has well developed influencing skills with an ability to communicate strategies and to gain support
