An Ergonomics Technician is required to work at UNIVERSAL SAFETY ASSOCIATES LIMITED, located at Unit 2, Glenrock Business Park, Ballybane, Galway, Co. Galway, H91 FF25. The candidate must hold a recognised qualification in ergonomics - a minimum Level 8 or 9 degree, or a Master's degree (or equivalent) - together with at least six months' experience in a dedicated ergonomics role. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive ergonomic evaluations, recommending adjustments to workstations and processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to reduce musculoskeletal risks across a range of workplace settings. Key responsibilities will include undertaking full ergonomic assessments of employee workstations, processes and environments; identifying musculoskeletal risk factors using evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies; recommending tailored interventions, including workstation modifications, equipment specifications and workflow improvements; preparing clear and professional reports; and maintaining accurate records of evaluations and findings. The post-holder will also be expected to remain up to date with current research and best practice in ergonomics, human factors and workplace design.
