Liquid Personnel is recruiting Senior Social Care Worker for its client at Cavan, Ireland.What will your responsibilities be?The primary purpose of this role is to provide care and support using a person-centred approach that addresses the practical, physical, and emotional needs of service users with an Intellectual Disability, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), or Autism. The postholder will assist individuals with disabilities in residential, training, and day service activities, supporting them to achieve their highest level of functioning, maintain independence, and develop skills that promote greater autonomy.The Senior Social Care Worker is an integral member of the on-floor duty team, responsible for coordinating the shift and supervising staff under their direction.The role requires collaborative working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver high-quality care to residents. The Senior Social Care Worker reports directly to the Person In-Charge.In the absence of the Person In-Charge, the Senior Social Care Worker may be required to deputise, assuming appropriate management and leadership responsibilities as needed.Qualifications & Experience:To be successful in this role you must have,

A qualification at Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with Disability modules (or other relevant discipline/qualification)
Have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with an intellectual disability so as to be able to discharge the full range of duties, functions, responsibilities and activities, required of the role.
Applicants must be CORU registered or currently in the process of obtaining CORU registration.
