You'll own software delivery, leading multiple cross-functional engineering teams and working closely with senior leadership and product to deliver features. This role suits someone who is very strong on process and structure. My client is growing, and they need to put in place the structure to enable this long-term growth. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, scaling teams, refining processes, and embedding modern engineering practices like Kanban.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle - architecture, build, delivery, and operations.
- Establish strong processes and structures to allow for more speed and predictability.
- Evolve technical platforms for scale, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent.
- Define and track KPIs to measure performance and delivery outcomes.
- 5+ years working as an engineering leader, ideally managing managers.
- A systems thinker who considers long term impact of technology decisions
- Expertise in deployment of multi tenanted software in the cloud.
- Expertise in architecture, system design, and scalability patterns.
- Data-driven approach to performance management.
