Building Services Engineer – Residential Projects - Client SideA well-funded, semi state organization is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join its construction team and work on large-scale residential and regeneration projects across Ireland. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early-stage design through construction, commissioning and handover, on high-profile housing developments with long-term pipeline security.About The RoleReporting to the Construction Manager, you will support the delivery of mechanical and electrical building services on live residential projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.Key Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of MEP services across multiple residential projects
  • Liaise with utility providers and design teams
  • Review building services design drawings and technical submittals
  • Monitor site installation, testing and commissioning works
  • Assist with inspections, snagging, quality control and handover documentation
  • Attend site and design coordination meetings
  • Support safety file compilation and commissioning plans
What you need
  • 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in Building Services / MEP - trade or engineering background
  • Residential project experience is essential
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
  • Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Full clean driving licence
