Administration Support
Location: Kilkenny30 Hours Per Week with Hybrid optionsOverviewAn established independent financial planning brokerage in Kilkenny City is seeking a highly organised, proactive and experienced Office Administrator / Support Executive. This role provides essential support to the Managing Director across all areas of the business, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and exceptional client service.With flexibility around working days and start/finish times, this position is ideal for someone who values autonomy, precision, and a varied workload.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Administrative Support
  • Provide daily administrative support to the Managing Director.
  • Maintain accurate client and business records in line with compliance requirements.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, diary coordination, and client follow‑ups.
  • Handle incoming enquiries and ensure timely, professional responses.
  • Conduct research to support financial planning activities.
  • Perform accurate data entry across internal systems and documentation.
Financial Services Administration
  • Assist with pensions administration, including documentation, updates, and client communication.
  • Support the preparation of reports, statements, and compliance files.
  • Update and maintain Broker Information Systems (BIS) (experience beneficial but not essential).
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexible, adaptable approach with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • QFA qualification or part‑qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience with BIS systems is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong communication and client‑service skills.
