- Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including departmental P&L analysis and performance tracking
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide rolling forecasts
- Own cashflow forecasting and credit control, with a focus on proactive debtor management
- Oversee the Invoice Discounting facility, including weekly cash monitoring and review
- Partner with the Managing Director and Directors to support growth, margin improvement and profitability
- Lead and develop the Finance and Payroll team
- Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of high-volume weekly and monthly payroll
- Manage monthly staff payroll
- Drive continuous improvement across finance and payroll processes, with a focus on efficiency and scalability
- Manage the annual statutory audit and banking facility audits
- Ensure full compliance with Revenue and pension requirements across the Group
- Act as the key point of contact for auditors, banking partners and external providers
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with 10+ years' post-qualification experience
- Experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role, ideally within an SME, professional services or similar environment
- Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop a team
- Commercially minded, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, practical insights
- Advanced Excel skills, with an interest in systems, automation or process improvement
- Experience with high-volume payroll environments is advantageous
