Our client, a leading player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a talented Data centre Infrastructure O&M Management Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you're passionate about IT equipment and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:- Develop and monitor the IT equipment installation process, ensuring strict adherence to specifications by vendors.
- Manage and supervise IT equipment installers, from scheduling to quality control.
- Review and approve installation plans to comply with data centre regulations and security requirements.
- Oversee the entire installation, cabling, configuration, and testing process, ensuring acceptance specifications are met.
- Monitor spare parts replacement, including fault diagnosis and verification.
- Conduct routine inspections to guarantee all equipment operates effectively and meets capacity needs.
- Respond promptly to emergencies to maintain equipment stability and security.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain devices and ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Assess supplier performance regularly and drive improvements.What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in data centre IT O&M and project management.
- Strong knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and networking equipment.
- Excellent people management skills to effectively coordinate teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and vendor management.
