Job descriptionQualified Accountant (Audit)About the Role:Are you an experienced audit professional looking for a fresh challenge in a collaborative and growing firm? We are seeking a Qualified Accountant with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience to join our client’s Audit Department in Enniscorthy. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse and dynamic portfolio including agriculture, renewable energy, construction, and financial services.You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing not only to high-quality audit delivery but also to the professional development of others.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit engagements from initial planning through to final reporting.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and build strong, trusted relationships.
  • Review the work of junior team members, ensuring quality and providing constructive feedback.
  • Provide day-to-day support and coaching to trainees and graduates, contributing to their development.
  • Ensure audits comply with all relevant regulatory and internal practice standards.
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting and audit issues as they arise.
  • Support ongoing improvements to audit processes and client service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in audit, preferably within a practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Ideally, experience working with clients in at least one of the following sectors: agriculture, renewable energy, construction, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to guide, support, and mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong client-service focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
