- Assist in ATE high speed design-in successes for released products and products under development. Manage relationships with customers during their design-in phase. This will involve gaining an understanding of the customer's application and providing innovative, practical, and timely solutions to customer challenges
- Help develop evaluation hardware and debug programs.
- Develop ATE product datasheets and evaluation board user guide with software as needed.
- Creation and production of design-in tools and collateral. These include but are not limited to: demo systems and technical literature. Technical literature includes : user guides, application notes, reference designs, design notes, technical articles and FAQs
- Develop and participate in online and in person training activities for customers, field application engineers, sales engineers and distributors.
- Actively participate in the ADI EZone forum to support ATE high speed and precision signal chains customer questions.
- Develop system level signal chain understanding in ATE systems.
- Help develop and validate product simulation models, IBIS and LTSPICE, Matlab etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification with at least 2-3 years’ experience. Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
- Communication with our customers and our sales/field applications engineers requires an outgoing personality with a pleasant and professional manner. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are a key requirement.
- The ideal candidate would have experience with analog circuits and associated hardware generally. Additional experience with power management ICs, PLLs, high speed Serdes or FPGAs is also beneficial.
- Experience with ATE products including pin drivers, comparators, parametric measurement units (PPMU) and device power supplies (DPS) from a design or a usage perspective would be desirable.
- PCB schematic entry and layout design experience is required preferably in Cadence ALLEGRO
- Experience using SPICE circuit simulators including LTSPICE would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with commonly used electronic test equipment is important, e.g. Oscilloscopes and Frequency Signal Generators, Arbitrary Waveform Generators, Vector Network Analysers and Spectrum Analysers
- Experience needed with high level software languages. Examples include Python, C# or Matlab.
- As the job requires constant communication with customers, it will therefore necessitate occasional travel.
