Community and Tenant Relations Officer - PropertyLocation: DublinContract Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: €37,604.82 - €41,997.07 (Dependent on Experience)About the RoleFocus Ireland has pioneered the innovative Meascán Model of intentional social mix, helping to create communities that include people with lived experience of homelessness. "Meascán" meaning mixture or blend in Irish, reflecting the model's goal of integrating diverse households-including those with complex support needs-into shared housing developments. It is Ireland's first intentional social mix housing model.Unlike traditional housing models where formerly homeless individuals are placed anonymously into existing communities, Meascán ensures that all tenants are informed in advance that some neighbours may have experienced homelessness. This transparency helps foster understanding and reduces stigma. The Community and Tenant Relations Officer plays a vital role in this model, working collaboratively with tenants, property teams, and other stakeholders to foster sustainable, inclusive communities.
