- A Level 8 (Honours) degree in Business, Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- A postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA or Master’s in Strategy, Leadership, or Operations) is a strong advantage
- Professional certifications in project management, leadership, or operational excellence are a plus
- 10–15 years’ experience in operations, corporate management, or a related sector
- 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive role with full accountability for performance
- Proven success managing and optimising multi-site operations, ideally across diverse locations
- A track record of driving efficiency, quality, and sustainable growth
- Experience working within regulated environments with strong governance and compliance oversight
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L ownership, budgeting, and cost control
- Skilled in operational planning, performance management, and KPI delivery
- Experience leading transformation, scaling operations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Strategic mindset with the ability to turn vision into execution
- Proven leader who builds, develops, and inspires high-performing teams
- Confident decision-maker who balances commercial, operational, and people priorities
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels, including Board
- Resilient, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced, complex environments
- Values-driven, with a strong focus on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Experience delivering digital transformation or process optimisation across multiple sites
- Background in regulated, service-led sectors (e.g. healthcare, social care, hospitality)
- Understanding of care environments or clinical governance structures (beneficial, not essential)
