Location: DublinSalary: €35,000 - €45,000Reference: LMF1753We are currently recruiting an experienced MICE Project Manager for this top DMC specialising in corporate and MICE events. This role is responsible for project-managing conferences, events & incentive groups from conception through to operations and final account reconciliation.Key responsibilities include:

Designing, creating and costing of client proposals
Responding to RFPs in timely manner
Drawing up and updating operational itineraries
Ensuring all accommodation & ground services are booked in line with the client's agreed programme & budget
Budget management including rate negotiation with suppliers to ensure realistic, winning rates
Invoice processing for suppliers and clients
Preparation and participation in site inspections and fam trips
Overtime on evening and weekends as required

The ideal candidate will hold a hospitality or tourism-related degree and will have at least two years' experience as Project Manager within a DMC or events company, MICE experience essential.Further candidate attributes include:

Computer literacy - proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
Highly organised and efficient worker, able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines
Flexibility with job demands, with excellent prioritisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proactive attitude, able to take full ownership for assigned responsibilities and projects
Team player
Clear, concise and professional communications, written and verbal
Resourceful and creative approach to obstacles
Genuine, approachable and enthusiastic
Experience working with North American market an advantage
Full drivers licence an advantage
