My client seeks a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team, playing a pivotal role in meeting financial reporting needs. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position offers opportunities for career growth and development within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the Accounts Function, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and all other duties within the Accounts Function.Core Duties:

Timely preparation of Monthly Management accounts
PO's/ Invoicing through SAP System
Understanding and management of relevant taxes and the tax system, including VAT, Payroll, R & D Tax Credit taxes.

Cash management and forecasting
Payroll Processing
Preparation of statutory and regulatory submissions * General Ledger and bank reconciliations

Processing invoices according to internal company procedures in a timely manner
Ensuring internal control procedures are being adhered to
Dealing with queries from external bodies to include customer suppliers.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

A Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years PQE /ACCA /ACA/CIMA/CPA
Reliable, self-motivated, highly organised and ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP /other ERP systems
Excellent numeracy and attention to detail. Consistency and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills
