
Associate Electrical DC Engineer

- Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for projects (science, industry, technology, etc.) from initial concept through detailed design, installation and commissioning.
- Develop innovative and sustainable electrical solutions, incorporating net-zero carbon principles, embodied carbon analysis, and circular economy strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, clients, and other specialists, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project completion.
- Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience, most of which within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of Data Centre Electrical System.
- Experience in the Irish market (or in the UK).
- Chartered Engineer status (or near chartered) with a proven track record in delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations (including BCAR) and relevant industry standards.
- Experience managing contractors and overseeing on-site work, including commissioning and maintenance considerations.
