
Global Mobility Specialist - Dublin/London/Frankfurt/Amsterdam

- Design and implement scalable and compliant global mobility processes and policies.
- Identify and manage external partners (e.g., relocation agencies, immigration providers, tax consultants).
- Establish documentation and tools to manage assignments, travel, and cross-border work consistently.
- Coordinate international assignments, short-term travel, permanent transfers, and remote work abroad.
- Act as a liaison between sending and receiving country HR teams to ensure smooth transitions and aligned responsibilities.
- Support managers and employees throughout the mobility lifecycle (pre-departure, during assignment, and repatriation or integration).
- Apply for and manage A1 certificates, visas, work permits, and other legal documentation.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws, social security regulations, and tax requirements in all involved countries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Payroll) to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Advise employees on relocation-related topics such as housing, health insurance, registration, and local requirements.
- Serve as the point of contact for mobile employees, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.
- Draft assignment letters, secondment agreements, and related employment documentation.
- Negotiate and coordinate with service providers, including cost estimates and invoicing oversight.
- Monitor regulatory changes that impact international employment and mobility.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all mobile employees and assignments.
- Report on mobility activity, risks, and cost trends to HR leadership.
- 3+ years of experience in global mobility, international HR, immigration, or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of cross-border employment, international social security (e.g. A1), visas, and tax considerations.
- Experience working with third-party providers and coordinating across countries.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages (especially German, French, or Spanish) are a plus.
- A valid visa or the right to work in the EU/EEA.
- Experience in a fast-growing, multi-country company or a start-up environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and mobility tracking tools.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to build things from scratch.
