They are inviting an accounting professional with experience within projects to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The company is private equity backed by leading and well-known investors and is experiencing significant growth which is expected to continue and into international markets.ABOUT THE ROLE:Financial Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and track all financial transactions related to the ERP implementation project
  • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders
  • Ensure project costs are recorded accurately and align with the approved budget
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support the development and management of the ERP implementation budget
  • Identify and report variances between actual and forecasted project costs
Cost Control & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in vendor invoice processing, purchase order tracking, and payment approvals related to the project
Collaboration & Communication
  • Liaise between Finance, IT, and other business units to ensure financial data integrity within the new ERP system
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making throughout the implementation
Post-Implementation Support
  • Assist with financial system testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business needs
  • Help in training finance staff on the new ERP system from a financial perspective

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with PQE within a project or system implementation role within industry.
  • Proven working experience in a project team
  • Ability to manage and co-ordinate large amounts of data, complex financial models & systems and provide user friendly financial and commercial analysis
  • First-rate IT/financial systems experience
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with the energy and drive to improve processes and solve problems under own direction
  • A precise approach to work with strong attention to detail and has experience working to tight deadlines
  • Communicates openly with clarity
  • Teamwork and collaboration and the ability to build effective partnerships with all stakeholders
  • Proven record of achievement, with specific examples of process improvement achievements
  • Experience working at diverse levels of the organisation with a multinational organisation
