Job DescriptionJob Description: Early Childhood EducatorJob Summary: As an Early Childhood Educator, your primary responsibility is to create a safe, secure, and healthy environment that promotes the well-being and development of children. You will actively engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, observe their progress, and maintain an organized, clean, and culturally sensitive learning environment. Effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues is essential. Adherence to established policies and procedures and a commitment to fostering high standards for children's development are crucial aspects of this role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for children's care, safety, and welfare.
  • Engage children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to support their individual growth.
  • Address the holistic needs of the children in your care.
  • Observe and record children's progress and development.
  • Promote and maintain an organized, clean, safe, well-equipped, and culturally sensitive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to create an environment of best practices.
  • Maintain high standards for children and encourage them to reach their full potential.
  • Teach children at a level and pace that suits their abilities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Fetac / QQI Level 5 in childcare, or a recognized degree in early childhood education, or a master's in early years (0-6 years), or a teaching degree in early years (0-6 years).
  • Practical experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Fluent English language proficiency is a necessity.
  • Flexibility in work hours and responsibilities.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong desire for ongoing career development.

Job Types:
  • Full-time, Part-time, Permanent positions available.
Salary:
  • €13.00 - €18:00 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and position offered within the company.
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Operating Hours:
  • 7.00 am - 6.30 pm
