JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Title: Senior Payroll SpecialistOur client based in Dundalk are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our Dundalk office This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is eager to further progress their career in a fast-paced payroll environment.As a Payroll Specialist your role will encompass a broad range of duties which shall include:Payroll ProcessingPrepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls using BrightPay software, ensuring all deadlines are met.Review timesheets for accuracy before uploading to payroll software.Calculate holiday pay and statutory paymentsCalculate and process benefits in kind for inclusion in payroll.Maintain pension contribution records and upload reports to pension providers where required.Assist with bank transfers for salary payments.Distribute payslips on or before the payment date.Submit monthly PAYE returns to Revenue and manage associated payments.Client ManagementManage a dedicated portfolio of payroll clients, liaising regularly to ensure excellent service.Support the delivery of payroll services to a diverse portfolio, including domestic and international clients, ensuring work meets professional standards and agreed timeframes.Liaise with clients throughout the year to maintain strong relationships.Assist in proposals for new work and participate in presentations to prospective clients as required.RequirementsYou will have at least 2 – 3 years' experience working in a busy payroll bureau environmentYou are IPASS qualifiedStrong technical skills and knowledge of payroll including PAYE, PRSI, USC, BIK, ROS, EFT, CSO, Gender Pay Gap & SSPMeticulous attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage multiple engagements, delegate appropriately and manage a teamExperience with coaching/managing junior team membersYou will be tech-savvyYou will have a pro-active approach to tasks, big and smallYou will have strong interpersonal and communication skillsYou will have excellent planning and organisational abilityYou will have excellent attention to detailBenefitsCompetitive salary based on your experienceFlexible working hours, with a four-and-a-half-day weekPaid Professional MembershipGenerous holiday allowance with additional company days for Christmas and Easter holidaysAbility to build up 5 additional days of leave per annumFor more information please send your CV to Bernie in confidence through the link.If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, please feel free to contact us directly.
