- Develop messaging and communication strategies that enable the successful adoption of products and features that instructors use to develop content for the Udemy platform.
- Build the go-to-market strategy that drives awareness and adoption of creator-based products and features.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as instructor strategy, support, partnerships, community and the broader marketing org to enable and execute strategy.
- Track competitive updates, identify audience trends, and participate in the product development process to ensure what we're building delivers true value.
- Lead, influence, and collaborate closely with product, marketing, and go-to-market leaders to execute material product rollouts.
- Partner with the user research team to form a deep intuitive knowledge of our instructors that will effectively inform our communication strategy.
- Gain a solid understanding of the competitive landscape, market gaps, and opportunities.
- Advocate for instructors by developing a deep understanding of their motivations and how their needs align with the goals of learners and the business
- 5+ years experience in product marketing at a fast-growing company (Marketplace, Creator, SMB experience a plus)
- Strong track record of delivering against KPIs that range from awareness & perception through to adoption, usage, and loyalty
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with deep strength in storytelling, with an ability to bring together multiple sources
- Wildly cross-functional collaboration style, breaking down barriers, reaching across teams and pushing things to completion
- Technical aptitude with a natural curiosity about how things work
- Comfort investing time in emerging technologies and applying those learnings
- Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and lead go-to-market plan execution
- Strong analytical bent with a disposition toward data-driven decision-making
