Role: Shift Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Northwest Logistics Park, D11X258Shift: 39hrs per week, Monday - SundaySalary: €66,000Experience: 2+ years within the trade or maintenance environmentWe are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Shift Maintenance Technician.This role is a key part of our contract-based maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, and soft services systems. The successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), troubleshoot and resolve faults, manage reactive tasks, and contribute to a safe and compliant working environment. A strong understanding of maintenance principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.Key Responsibilities of a Shift Maintenance Technician
Maintenance & Operations:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on all site equipment, systems, and infrastructure, in accordance with schedules and established procedures.
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance requests, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, utilizing technical manuals and other resources.
Coordinate with site Leads and other technicians to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, utilizing the CMMS system.
Maintain and update records, logbooks, and QHSE documentation.
Assist with the pricing of Capex works and extra work buy-ups when required.
Complete handyman tasks as needed.

Emergency Response

Respond immediately to all emergency situations, including fire alarms, equipment failures, and other critical incidents.
Follow established emergency response protocols and procedures.

Person Specification

Full driving license essential
Experience in a client facing facility role preferred
Adaptable
Must be client focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have experience in completing and operating to method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Actions and Permits associated with their work activities
Experience in facilities operations and or maintenance environment desirable
Have completed H&S training
Flexibility to work 12hr shift patterns
Ability to complete paper work and reports to high standards
IT literacy an advantage, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office .
