Allianz Partners is seeking a University Actuarial Candidate to join its Global Pricing Team. This role sits within the actuarial pricing function responsible for the Individual and SME book of Allianz Partners’ International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) portfolio.The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of projects that support Allianz Partners’ growth strategy, such as launching innovative solutions and expanding into new markets, while also contributing to the ongoing management and development of the current book of business.This is a global team of 14 professionals across 5 countries, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from different geographies and backgrounds. Work is primarily carried out remotely, with one in-office day each week dedicated to team collaboration.We are looking for a candidate who is:
  • Available from January 2026-August 2026 at full time basis
  • Willing to work in our Parkwest office one day a week.
  • Has a working Visa for the duration of the contract ( Jan-Aug)
  • Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute to real-world projects.
  • Comfortable working with data and open to learning new tools and actuarial concepts.

Allianz Partners is an industry-leading IPMI insurer, currently in a period of rapid expansion. This role provides an excellent platform to develop actuarial and business skills while contributing to varied projects across multiple geographies within our growing product suite.What you doResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support the review of insurance product performance by conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA), interpreting trends, and identifying insights to inform pricing decisions.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and refine product and pricing propositions to meet internal and external requirements
  • Participate in strategic projects where pricing input is required
  • Support the preparation of strategic business case analysis to understand and achieve a desirable balance of growth/profitability
  • Provide technical pricing support and analysis for key business projects
  • Assist in the determination of suitable premiums for new products to facilitate entry into new markets and territories
  • Communication and presentation of results of analysis to various stakeholders
  • Development of reports to further automate dissemination of information across business teams
  • Manage the accurate and timely implementation of premium rate structures on policy administration and quotation systems
  • Ensure the appropriateness of the methodologies, underlying models and assumptions made in the calculation of premium rates
  • Build technical excellence through hands-on experience in modelling with statistical methods and machine learning, supported by ongoing learning and development
What you needThe successful candidate for this position will need to have the following skills/ experience:
  • University Student in an Actuarial Program
  • Working Visa in date from start to end date of contract (Jan-Aug 2026)
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to liaise with and coordinate efforts of both those with whom there is and is not a direct reporting relationship
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex problems without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complicated processes and concepts to non-experts
