We are looking for a Landscape Architect (Principal LVIA Consultant) to join our growing team, working on a number of high volume, broad-ranging development projects, including coastal/offshore, countryside and urban settings.As a key member of our team you can look forward to working on a diverse portfolio of LVIA projects in terms of scale, sector and setting. In this role you will have the support to expand your technical expertise, with opportunities both in the field conducting surveys and collecting baseline photography, as well as collaborating with architects, planner & engineers to integrate LVIA considerations into project designs, providing expert advice on landscape and visual mitigation measures and much more.To be successful in this role you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture, environmental planning, geography, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting LVIA for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and renewable energy developments.
  • Proficiency in GIS, CAD, and visualisation software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and independently manage project tasks and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices related to landscape and visual impact assessment (e.g., Landscape Institute Guidelines, EIA Regulations).
